Sarah Stipho DMD, MS, was raised in Hopkinton. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Boston College and her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts, she chose to further her training and received her certificate in Periodontology. During her periodontal training, she also earned a Masters degree in Periodontology with an emphasis on bilateral sinus lift procedures.
While at Tufts, Dr. Stipho earned many awards and honors. She was a recipient of the Dr. O. Walter Donnenfeld Scholarship, the Proctor and Gamble Award and the Dr. Chad Anderson Family Award for innovative methodology and research design. She was inducted into the Robert R. Andrews Honors Society and was included in the Deans List for her performance on the National Board. She has presented her work at the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Association of Dental Research and the Yankee Dental Congress.
Dr. Stipho served the profession and the community as chair of the Tufts Alumni Association of Women Dentists, board member of the National Student Research Group, and clinical instructor in periodontology for pre-doctoral dental students at the Tufts University clinic. She has participated in several outreach programs whose mission is to reach underserved communities nationally and internationally. She is currently a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Dental Association. She is an accomplished watercolor artist and a pianist certified with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
Dr. Stipho enjoys every aspect of periodontology, strives to provide the best care possible to her patients and is excited to serve our community.
